Atlanta International School invites you to their bilingual Model United Nations conference, available for both English speakers and Spanish speakers in Middle School.
This one-day event will take place at Atlanta International School, on the 13th of May. AISMUN is a conference for Middle School students, grades 6-8, who speak English and/or Spanish. The committees, topics, and guides will be released shortly. We will be allowing a maximum of 150 students in total, and are looking forward to seeing you there!
GUEST SPEAKER - ANGELINA SANDERS

Angelia Sanders has nearly two decades of hands-on public health experience with expertise in results-driven, program delivery in resource-poor, complex settings. Sanders served in the United States Peace Corps in Kenya and worked for the North Atlantic Treaty Organization’s (NATO) Civil Military Fusion Centre before joining The Carter Center. She previously worked for The Carter Center in South Sudan for 4 years, serving as a regional coordinator in the Guinea Worm Eradication Program before taking a position as a technical advisor in the Trachoma Control Program. From her role as a technical advisor, she moved to The Carter Center’s headquarters in Atlanta, Georgia, to support the Center’s comprehensive efforts in six trachoma-endemic countries. As The Carter Center Trachoma Control Program Associate Director, Sanders serves as a liaison to the field offices, oversees monthly tracking of trachoma interventions, supports operational research, provides technical assistance, evaluates program performance, and develops implementation strategies.
